Vaco Boston has partnered with our client, a large, publicly held manufacturing company in the Boston area, that is seeking a strong Indirect Tax Analyst.
Responsibilities: Prepare indirect tax workpapers, sales/use tax analysis, property tax payments, abandoned property, and assessment review. Assist with the data preparation of indirect tax compliance. Assist with state and local tax research and analyses. Assist with maintaining and enhancing sales/use tax processes. Assist with state and local tax audits. Assist with maintaining exemption certificates Support state and local tax department with special projects. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Masters in Taxation a plus. 2+ years relevant tax experience. Strong command of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Vertex software experience a plus.
