D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a  Talent Acquisition Recruiter . The right candidate will assist in the development of short and long-term recruitment strategies and partner with leadership nationwide to recruit experienced and entry-level candidates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Collaborate with hiring managers to develop cohesive strategies for recruitment and meeting hiring goals Manage the full cycle recruiting process and maintain a candidate pipeline through online and inhouse resources Evaluate sourcing strategies and available positions with talent acquisition team and leadership Maintain individual and company recruiting objectives Communicate with candidates and applicants via phone/video interviews and through written resources Attend campus recruiting events to attract student talent from diverse backgrounds for experienced and internship roles (seasonal travel required) Provide recruiting analytics on a weekly basis Update and maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with current information to assist in recruiting and placement efforts Post open requisitions to various recruiting platforms nationally Research and review potential recruiting resources for process improvement and implementation Conduct weekly Corporate new hire orientation training Partner with hiring managers to gain an understanding of the business needs and respective talent requirements to create candidate profiles Assist in the development of short and long-term recruitment strategies for continuous process improvement; assists with the interview process and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers to ensure that best hiring practices are followed Comply with all federal and state laws and company policies regarding recruitment Assist with annual Internship program development and implementation Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company Ability to work overtime Qualifications
Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university Minimum of 1 year full cycle recruiting experience in a corporate or staffing environment required Proficient with recruiting through external job boards including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Recruiter, and CareerBuilder required Proficient with Microsoft Suite Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail Strong verbal, nonverbal and written communication skills Ability to work well with all levels of an organization and work well within a team Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications Must be available to travel nationwide  Preferred Qualifications ATS (Taleo) and HRIS (Peoplesoft) experience preferred   Schedule – Hybrid (3 days in office), 9AM – 6PM CST, Seasonal travel required
