Are you a tech-savvy professional with a passion for keeping IT systems running smoothly? We're seeking a high-energy Systems Administrator to join our rapidly expanding team and support our nationwide chain of Mexican restaurants.
In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for the planning, installation, deployment, and maintenance of our core IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, PCs, phones, applications, and alarms across our corporate office, call center, and numerous retail locations. You'll develop and maintain IT security best practices, manage IT systems security policies, oversee software license compliance, and manage our backup and disaster recovery infrastructure to ensure data integrity and mitigate data loss.
As our Systems Administrator, you'll be a true problem-solver, responding to service outages and supporting other IT roles as needed. We're looking for a forward-thinking individual who can anticipate our future technical growth and expansion needs, ensuring our systems are always ahead of the curve.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field of study.
- 3-5 years of experience managing core IT systems within a predominantly Microsoft environment, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry supporting multiple locations in various states.
- Knowledge and familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements such as PCI, SOX, and IT-specific ISO/IEC Standards (preferred).
- Current/recent Microsoft professional certifications (desired).
- Comprehensive knowledge of current server operating systems (e.g., Microsoft Server 2012/2012 R2/2016/2019, VMware ESXi 6.7/7.0, Hyper-V virtualization in a clustered environment), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Server/Print Server, Remote Access Services, Windows 10, Office 365 email services, Azure Active Directory, Single Sign-On authentication services, Enterprise Anti-Virus applications, Enterprise backup solutions, and Patch Management Solutions.
- In-depth understanding of networking routing protocols and associated services to effectively address and resolve network issues.
- Experience with firewall, router, and switch management, including VPNs, VLANs, and NAT.
- Experience planning, deploying, and managing VOIP/SIP-based communications systems.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with a high level of responsiveness and the ability to anticipate client needs.
- Flexibility to effectively and quickly adjust to changing plans and priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with internal/external clients and service providers.
- Analytical problem-solving abilities to evaluate options and choose the best solutions.
- A proactive approach to staying up-to-date with new technologies and their applications.
- Minimal travel required.
