As a Systems Administration Technician, one will take a role in the automation of software installation and operating systems deployment configurations. This also includes responding to requests for assistance in troubleshooting technical issues, support to other
technicians, and participation in long-term projects in both individual and team settings. A person in this position will assist in setting the direction for future advancement in endpoint technologies.


This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD), Client Engagement Services (CES) team.

Duties and Responsibilities: Writing PowerShell scripts for software automation. Deploying software with automation tools (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager). Provide support and troubleshooting to other technical staff. Write reports requested on hardware or software install base. OS and Driver support Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Technical troubleshooting skills with knowledge of Windows OS. Knowledge of software automation tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and
PowerShell. Active Directory and GPO's. Computer Imaging. Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate's name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
