Title: Supply Management Specialist - 98718 Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position This position may be located in Milan, IL or Waterloo, IA per the hiring manager's discretion. This may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency.
This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities As a Supply Management Specialist for the Aftermarket and Customer Support (A&CS) Supply Management team located in Milan, IL or Waterloo, IA, you will:
Be responsible for the procurement of service parts Establish material replenishment strategies that support supplier quality and delivery Maintain relationships with suppliers and coordinate efforts to address performance improvement initiatives Lead cost reduction and margin improvement activities for assigned areas of responsibility Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position. What Skills You Need 2 or more years of experience leading supplier improvement initiatives 2 or more years of experience in supplier negotiations 2 or more years identifying and executing new opportunities that result in value creation, efficiency improvement, and/or cost reduction SAP Materials Management experience Demonstrated ability to influence without authority Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally What Makes You Stand Out Project management experience Cross-Functional work experience Excellent communication skills Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
