Responsibilities
• Rotate through all functions of the distribution center, including, but not limited to: Warehouse operations, Transportation, Restaurant Services/Customer Service/Field Service, Inventory, Human Resources.• Function as lead person on specific projects.• Actively participate in internship program training activities, developmental opportunities, and events.• Gain understanding of all business areas to develop business acumen.• Timely completion of business-specific projects and tasks.• Other projects or duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Rising Juniors and Seniors that are currently enrolled in a 4-yr. program and pursuing a bachelor's degree in logistics, operations management, supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, or business management/administration.• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.• Strong analytical thinking and sophisticated problem-solving skills.• Confidence and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.• Ability to organize work tasks and work independently or as part of team.• Team-oriented thinking with enthusiasm for continuous learning.• Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications in MS Office.• A willingness to work flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) as needed and regular work attendance required.• Ability to travel up to 10% nationally.• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
