Work Hours (Shift) – 1st shift, 2nd shift
Starting Pay – $30+

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Schedule work assignments, and directly supervise employees, participate in hiring, onboarding and performance management.
implement production targets, support continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct training of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Assist with specifications for required material handling equipment, racking, and dock equipment.
Coordinate stock shortage shipments and rework of returned goods with Production Dept. Keep management informed on general conditions and on matters of importance, which could impact quality, cost, safety or employee morale.
Provide safety and job skills training
Ensure the completion of all required records, paperwork, documents, etc.
Ensure compliance with all safety and work rules and regulations. Ensure the maintenance of equipment and departmental housekeeping standards.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, maintenance environment, union experience a plus
Knowledge of distribution operating systems, MS Office suite and business processes, SAP experience preferred
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written including the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
