FREE TRAINING GREAT BENEFITS COMPETIVE PAY Principal Purpose: The Supervisor is responsible for the management of all aspects of day services and community integration, delivered primarily in a group setting. The Supervisor will function as the lead person in coordinating and developing support for each individual support plan. The Supervisor will create and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including families and guardians, residential facilities, and service coordination.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred in a Human Service field, including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation, nursing, counseling and psychology from an accredited four-year college / university and/or 4 years' experience in the field of IDD. Experience as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team in assessing, developing, or implementing Individual Support Plans (ISP's) for persons with developmental disabilities. Ability to communicate (verbally and orally) in an effective, proper, proactive, and clear manner. Strong mathematical skills to be utilized in managing departmental budgets. Strong critical thinking / problem solving skills. Working knowledge and skill set to utilize multiple computer formats / systems (Microsoft Word and Excel, etc.). Strong working knowledge and ability to adhere to the guidelines of all funding sources, including DMH, Medicaid Waiver, United Way and regulating bodies, including DMH and CARF, HCBS and NCI.
