Stone Arch Law Office, PLLC is a busy estate planning law firm in Southwest Minneapolis. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced probate and estate planning paralegal to lead and manage the Legal Support Team as well as perform advanced paralegal functions.The Paralegal Supervisor position includes a significant amount of client contact requiring a candidate with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a professional demeanor. A primary component of this position requires the exercise of independent judgment and discretion with the authority to make decisions on matters that affect the legal operations of the team.We are a small (but growing) team and offer a family-oriented office environment with a competitive compensation and benefits program. Salary will be commensurate with experience. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 plus bonuses and benefits. Submit your resume via WizeHire in order to be considered!Responsibilities:Paralegal - 70%Draft full wills and trusts from templates including custom languageFile probate, guardianships, and contested mattersProvide customer service to include answering phones, greeting clients, and responding to client questions when appropriateSupervisory - 30%Supervise the Legal Support Team by assigning projects, prioritizing and organizing tasks, and assisting with conflict resolution as neededManaging team workload and assisting staff when necessaryAdvise in making personnel decisions, including hiring/termination, salaries, promotions, and annual reviews, as they pertain to the Legal Support TeamProvide on-going training and mentoring to Legal Support TeamDevelop strategies and plans to meet team goalsQualifications:Experience/Education:Bachelor's degree in finance, management, legal administration, or related fieldParalegal certificateMinimum of five (5) years experience with drafting estate planning documentsMinimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience, preferably at a law firmQualifications:Demonstrated experience and ability to effectively lead and supervise othersProficiency in the use of a database or case management software and common office technology programs, with the ability to learn new software and operating systemsExtreme attention to detailExcellent customer service skillsAbility to execute instructions and Firm policiesAbility to handle more complex issues/duties requiring independent exercise of discretion and judgmentExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skillsMust be available to work in the office Monday - FridayAbout Company:Stone Arch Law Office is an estate planning law firm located in Southwest Minneapolis.
