Superintendent Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely completion of projects
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and regulations
Review and interpret drawings, blueprints, and other construction documents
Collaborate with project team members to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication
Superintendent Essential Job Functions:
Oversee and enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
Conduct regular job site walkthroughs to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project plans
Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
Provide regular project updates and reports to management and clients
Superintendent Skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in the educational, healthcare, or multifamily sectors
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders
Solid understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address project challenges and changes
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and construction management software
Benefits:
Competitive salary range of $75,000 - $105,000, commensurate with experience
