What you will do Our Vancouver, Washington factory is currently seeking candidates for entry level Summer production positions .
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our production operations and ensuring smooth workflow. You will work closely with the production team to assist in various tasks and contribute to the overall success of our production process. Term of Employment: We are planning to have Summer Workers start around May 15th, 2024 through September 13th, 2024.
Rate of Pay: $20.76 per hour. There is an opportunity for this position to be working varied shifts between Day (7am to 3pm ), Swing (3pm to 11pm), Grave (11pm to 7am).
Primary Responsibilities Assist in all aspects of the production process, including setting up and operating machinery, assembling components, and performing quality checks. Receive, organize, and store raw materials and supplies. Ensure proper inventory control and accurate recordkeeping. Retrieve and transport materials to workstations as needed, ensuring timely availability for production tasks. Clean and maintain production equipment and tools to ensure their optimal performance. Assist in basic troubleshooting and minor repairs under the guidance of experienced technicians. Inspect finished products for defects and deviations from quality standards. Follow quality control procedures to ensure only the highest quality products are delivered to customers. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Contribute to the implementation of safety improvements. Maintain accurate production records and reports. Record production data, including quantities, dates, and times, in a timely and organized manner. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines. Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers to ensure smooth workflow and address any production-related issues promptly. Other duties as assigned. Experience High School or equivalent. We provide on the job training for Summer Workers. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines. Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects if required. Willingness to learn and develop new skills in a production setting.
