Summer Marketing Intern

Summer Marketing Intern Location: On-site at our headquarters in Valley Park, Missouri.
Duration: Mid-May to early August 10-12 weeks.
Hours: Approximately 20-30 hours per week.
Compensation: $15-$19 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Description: St Louis Composting, producer of STA-Certified Compost, Mulch Products and Soil Blends, is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our growing team as a Summer Marketing Intern. This is an exciting opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing while contributing to real-world projects.
Responsibilities: - Assist in creating and scheduling social media content across various platforms.
- Assist in designing social media and email campaigns.
- Help develop and implement email marketing campaigns.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Assist in writing marketing copy for various channels.
- Support the marketing manager in executing strategic initiatives and campaigns.
- Various other tasks as assigned.
Requirements: - Pursuing a degree in Marketing or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their analytics
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and contribute
Duration and Hours: The internship will run from May to early August, approximately 10-12 weeks. Interns will be expected to work between 20-30 hours per week, Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with flexibility based on availability and scheduling constraints.
