Working Title: Residence Life Director for Business Operations and Facilities

Position Summary: The Residence Life Director for Business Operations and Facilities is an integral member of the Campus Life leadership team. This position is responsible for overseeing the residence hall business operations such as contract administration, occupancy management, customer service, and communication. Additionally, this position is responsible for the oversight of residence hall facilities management and services, including custodial services, accommodations, technology, facility maintenance, equipment and furniture inventory, large and small projects, and capital planning.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Required Qualifications Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Business, Management, or related field Minimum of 8 years post bachelor's experience in Student Affairs Experience in the management of residence hall facilities, maintenance, and planning Experience in Residence Life business operations including occupancy management, policy development and implementation, and student recruitment and retention Experience in hiring, training, supervising and evaluating professional staff Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, direction, and management for initiatives and projects Excellent decision-making, organizational, task-management, and interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to work effectively with various constituencies, including parents, students, colleagues, and administrators Preferred Qualifications Experience working with StarRez or similar housing management software system Special Instructions to Applicants: Applicants are required to apply online. The salary range for this position is $75,000-$80,000. The final offer will come from the hiring manager and will be based on experience and qualifications.
