This Strategist position provides an excellent opportunity for personal growth and development as you will learn all aspects of the utility industry (regulatory, legal, finance, Bulk Electric System, and electric markets).The Strategist is responsible for supporting the creation and implementation of operational strategies that will minimize the net cost of serving WEC Energy Group's customers. Strategies will involve the regional energy markets (MISO, ERCOT, PJM and SPP), market and tariff design, regulatory filings including rate design concepts, and transmission impacts on our generating assets and customers. This also includes development and modification of technology, data and processes to efficiently manage operational strategies.This position requires unescorted access to certain critical cyber assets which would require applicants to satisfy all company and NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection Standard 004 security requirements, which includes a background investigation.Job ResponsibilitiesAnalyze data, project future conditions in support of asset optimization and regulatory filings.
