What you'll do here:
In this newly built sales leadership position, you will drive sales performance and set strategic direction for a high energy, goal-oriented key account team located across the US. Reporting to the VP of K12 Sales your primary focus will be to lead a group of sales hunters and subject matter experts to sell SAAS digital products that support classroom solutions for daily instruction into K12 strategic accounts.
Meet and exceed monthly sales targets by developing territory plans aligned to performance goals, and oversight of in account outreach and lead generation.
Hire, train, develop, and evaluate the team on how to conduct effective strategic buying conversations.
Manage expectations for the territory pipeline and utilization of Salesforce by sales representatives, and produce accurate monthly sales forecasts.
Travel to meet with key customers, assist sales representatives with advancing relationships, negotiate and close deals and RFPs.
Analyze and control expenditures of team to conform to departmental budgetary targets.
Facilitate and play key role at state and national trade shows as well as other customer facing events and internal sales meetings.
Support ongoing product/sales skills training programs; monitor, evaluate and advance skill levels across the entire sales team. Provide regular, ongoing verbal and written feedback on rep performance.
Monitor and assess the activities and products of competitors in order to build territory strategy, and provide marketing insights as to customer perspectives.
Skills you will need here:
Documented success in exceeding sales goals and a minimum 1-3 years in sales management desired.
Ability to problem-solve and deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists.
Curriculum experience and a keen understanding of SASS technology sales/implementation in the K12 space.
Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills including team development and coaching.
Possess a sound understanding and expertise in business-to-business professional selling and negotiation. Be an intermediate-level or above Salesforce user.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
