It starts with YOU . This position is responsible for the strategic support, collaboration, and coordination of raw and semi-finished materials across all Personal Care production facilities. This role's primary focus is to collaborate with vendors to ensure support of the business unit's plans using a data-driven approach.
In this role, you will: Execute material requirement plans to ensure raw material and work-in-process availability that support production schedules and optimizes inbound efficiencies.
Provide long-term forecasts to vendors based on data-driven information, aligned to strategic Business Unit plans.
Lead and/or participate in various Supply Planning projects which support development of organizational priorities.
Coordinate with Strategic & Midterm Planners and provide direction to tactical Material Planners to support business plan changes and minimize obsolescence in collaboration with Operations, Marketing, Planning, and Packaging.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure their capacities meet the required volumes to prevent supply constraints and ensure vendor resources support the business plans; Manage any supply constraints through collaboration with Supply Planning, Procurement, and Operations teams.
Maintain accurate recipe planning information for raw materials in SAP-ERP (an Enterprise Resource Planning system), updating as necessary for material and product changes.
Participate and lead problem solving and process improvement with production site, staff, and vendor teams.
The successful candidate will join the Supply Planning Team and report to the Manager, Supply Planning – Personal Care Shared Materials.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Required :
Bachelor's Degree in Business/Logistics/Supply Chain or related field
2+ years of experience in Supply Chain/Operations at a site or staff level
Demonstrated ability to organize resources and analyze alternatives to make effective decisions
Strong communication and collaboration skills, building trust with others
Willingness to challenge the status quo and facilitate different perspectives to drive solutions
Strong analytical skillset, Microsoft Excel proficiency, and data-driven mindset
A demonstrated ability to provide work direction and influence peers and others
Preferred: Previous Experience as a Material Planner and / or Production Scheduler
Experience with SAP (R3 or APO) is preferred
Working knowledge of supply chain interactions
