Job Description: Saugatuck SoHa Surf Shop Retail Store Associate Position Summary: Join our team as a Store Associate at Saugatuck SoHa Surf Shop and enhance the shopping experience of our customers. In this role, you will engage in various sales activities within our retail environment, from welcoming customers to processing purchases, all aimed at boosting customer satisfaction and driving sales.
Key Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly upon their entry and help set a positive tone for their shopping experience. Engage customers in conversation to establish rapport, provide honest recommendations, and assist with purchasing decisions. Process transactions quickly and accurately, handling both cash and card payments. Assist in visual merchandising tasks, including changing mannequin outfits and setting up merchandise displays. Collaborate with team members to keep the sales floor clean, organized, and inviting. Position Details: Available for seasonal, part-time, and full-time employment. Salary: Starts at $14.00 per hour, can increase depending on experience. Schedule: Shifts range from 4 to 8 hours. Location: Downtown Saugatuck, Michigan. Minimum age requirement: 16 years old. Ideal Candidate: Must possess an outgoing personality, welcoming and engaging customers actively. Ability to build strong customer relationships through personalized service. Keen interest in fashion and visual merchandising. Strong teamwork skills, committed to store objectives and maintaining an orderly environment. Previous retail experience is a plus, but not required. Additional Details: Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal. Expected Hours: 20 – 40 per week.
