Responsibilities
• Manage the reprocessing cycle for surgical instrumentation• Care for and operate ultrasonic cleaners, washers, sterilizers, and other equipment• Complete quality monitoring and documentation• Pick supplies and instruments to prepare case carts for surgery• Perform quality assurance activities• Assist with supply inventory management and clinic instrument rounds• Assist with mentoring, training, coaching, and role modeling for new Sterile Processing Techs• Perform all duties with a commitment to excellence, quality, and customer service
Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred• Twelve months minimum experience in Sterile Processing• Proficiency in spoken and written English due to the technical nature of the role• Certification as Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) through Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) through Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)• Proficiency in various applications related to Instrument management and Microsoft Office
