Step IT Up Paid Training Mainframe System Programmer

TheUST/Xpanxion, Step IT Up apprenticeship program is launching an upcoming class focused on creating opportunities for MinorityVeterans and Women who are passionate about learning in the field of Information Technology.
This opportunity is 40 days of paid training in Mainframe System Programmer.
This is a special program for minority and veteran candidatesinterested in learning in the field of Information Technology.Most importantly, we are lookingforindividuals who have the drive and passion to succeed!Candidates meeting the above-listed criteria will receive preference during the class selection process.
Requirements:
Pass an aptitude assessment test
Computer Science Degree Required - will accept any 4 year degree with a minor in computer science
Veteran Candidates - we will accept your military experience in lieu of a 4-year degree
Any type of IT experience or IT certifications is Beneficial
On site Interviews will be held in June
-For non local candidates who will be relocating, we will accommodate a virtual interview
Able to attend on site training Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day starting July 1st.
Local candidates near Omaha, NE preferred
If selected for the Step IT Up apprenticeship program, you will be hired as an Xpanxion employee, provided with a laptop, paid during training at no cost to you and once training is successfully completed, begin working.
