Responsibilities
• Set up and operate stamping press according to customer specifications• Complete mechanical tasks associated with die set-up and adjustments• Troubleshoot in-press issues and make minor repairs• Perform quality inspections and ensure finished products meet standards• Maintain a clean and safe work area• Report and document production and quality control issues• Operate overhead crane and material handling equipment• Read work instructions and use measurement tools• Complete required paperwork accurately and timely• Assist with other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED• 1 year of progressive stamping press experience preferred• Experience in automotive/manufacturing environment preferred• Overhead crane and forklift experience preferred• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Sound technical aptitude and ability to resolve complex issues• Willingness to learn and be trained• Dependable and hardworking• Ability to work in a team environment
