Headquartered in San Diego, California, with additional offices in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific, the company employs over 8,000 people worldwide.Meet the team:Device Compatibility Team test devices to ensure seamless compatibility of our software applications with various devices and platforms.You willberesponsible foroverseeing and leadingtheteam in the development and implementation of softwareandhardwareautomationsolutions. Themain roleis toprovidetechnical guidance, mentorship, and support to the team members.Should haveskill setsto analyze problems,identifyroot causes, and provide effective solutions.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams; SW Developers, HW Engineers, QA, Automation Engineers, Program Managers,and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects within scope, and timeline.Where you come in:You will lead other engineers globally to architect andbuiltsolutions for automating Web and Mobile App testing, on real devices and emulation environments, at scale.Build tools for configuring/controlling Dexcom devices and Apps, parsing logs and analyzing failures.Work with the QA and Dev teams to maximize Automated testing in each sprint and track automation tasks as part of Sprint delivery.Develop tools and APIs to run automation, send notifications, generate documentation, generate/process events, automate Jira workflows etc.Automate end-to-end tests on several phones (iOS/Android) to run in parallel andvalidateproduct features.Evangelize available automation platforms, drive towards scalable automation development.Build integrations between tools like Jira,Testrail, Slack,Github, Datadog etc. to automate workflows and data transfers between systems.Work with the team onidentifyingimprovement areas and generate/tracking ROI metrics from automation.Mentor junior engineers, build cool stuff,learn,and grow!What makes you successful:Must have hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Junit, Karate, Robot framework,NGTest,postman, etc. and building Automation frameworks.Hands-on experience developing applications and libs in Python, using/buildingRestAPIs, interfacing with embedded devices, automating mobile and embedded devices.Solid experience working with tools like Jira,Testrail, GitHub, databases, AWS/GCP services, etc.Experience in Building and managing automated test suites that can be used by other teams in CI/CD (Jenkins, Bamboo etc.) and QA for end-to-end system testing.Experience using/working with cloud solutions (AWS or GCP) forcompute, storage, authentication, messaging services, etc.Experience manipulating data in various formats like JSON, XML, Text, CSV, Excel etc. and using tools like Splunk, Datadog etc. for data analysis.Must have experience working with remote teams and managing global projects.Whatyou'llget:A front row seat tolife changingCGM technology.Learn about our brave #dexcomwarriors community.Afull andcomprehensive benefitsprogram.Growth opportunities on a global scale.Access tocareer development through in-house learning programs and/orqualifiedtuition reimbursement.Anexcitingandinnovative,industry-leading organizationcommitted to our employees,customers, and the communities we serve.Travel Required:0-5%Experience and Education Requirements:Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master's degree and 2-5 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 0-2 yearsexperience.FlexWorkplace:Your primary location will beSan Diegooffice.
