Staff/Senior Accountant

Vaco Richmond is actively searching for a corporate staff or senior accountant at a reputable and stable company in the Richmond area

General Responsibilities: Understand and adhere to accounting policies and processes Analyze financial information and financial status Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Ensure compliance with US GAAP Develop and document processes and procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls Assist with audits to ensure compliance Special projects as needed Qualifications: 3+ years of corporate accounting or public accounting BS in Accounting/Finance Strong knowledge of US GAAP Vaco Financial specializes in the permanent placement of accounting and finance professionals of all levels and industries
