Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Our client are a cutting-edge fintech firm and they are hiring a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join their  team on a  remote basis. The successful candidate will utilize their proficiency in Large Language Models  to transform investment intelligence via their AI-driven wealth management platform.
Responsibilities As the Staff Machine Learning Engineer, you will design and refine open source and proprietary LLMs for diverse tasks.
You will be responsible for constructing sophisticated Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
Establish thorough evaluation frameworks to assess model performance.
Roll out models into production environments, prioritizing reliability and scalability.
Work closely with product and engineering teams to provide holistic solutions.
Skillset Ph.D./Masters/Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics or equivalent. 
Hands-on experience in NLP/LLM with up-to-date knowledge of current research.
Strong skills in LLM fine-tuning methodologies, inference frameworks and advanced RAG pipelines.
Proficient in machine learning/deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Fluent in both Python and SQL, showcasing robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
