Join the team if building models and signal processing means more than just getting the work done.Where you come in:You will lead modeling efforts to characterize and predict the impact and interactions of various biological processes to new analyte sensor accuracyYou will build physics-based, first-principles models to predict new analyte sensor behaviorYou will apply data mining and machine learning techniques to extract valuable information and patterns from bench, pre-clinical, and clinical data sets that can be leveraged in support of new technology developmentYou will serve as technical lead in pursuit of bench, clinical, and commercial feasibility of new algorithms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, as appropriateYou will provide inputs on how to optimize firmware and hardware designs in support of new algorithms; perform tradeoff assessments of algorithmic complexity and availability of system resourcesYou will run simulations and present results to cross-functional teamsWhat makes you successful:Knowledge of biochemistry or biophysics and associated mathematical modeling methods and techniquesExpert degree of proficiency in Matlab, Python, or C/++.Deep-rooted understanding of statistics, mathematical modeling, and machine learningAbility to run self-directed projects, maintain timelines, transfer technology and execute projects in an early-stage technical environmentAbility to organize, analyze, and interpret bench, pre-clinical, and clinical data to generate sound insights and conclusionsAbility to deal withambiguity/uncertaintyand a willingness to try new/challenging endeavorsDemonstrated written and verbal communication skillsPast experience in the biosensor and/or electrochemistry field is a plusPrior experience in a regulatory environment, such as, medical devices, diagnostics, or pharmaceuticals is a plusCapable of understanding academic literature from diverse areas of mathematics, machine learning, statistics, diabetes, biochemistry, and biophysics is a plusWhat you'll get:A front row seat to life changing CGM technology.
