My Client is a top Manufacturer looking for a Staff Accountant to join their rapidly growing team. The position entails providing support in various general accounting tasks, conducting data analysis, and assisting in financial document preparation. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to work independently or collaboratively, demonstrate critical thinking skills, and make sound decisions.
Essential Functions/Duties:
Act as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting AP issues. Take the lead in managing Fixed Assets. Aid in daily bank reconciliations. Assist in the month-end close and financial reporting process. Support balance sheet reconciliations. Engage in general accounting activities and project-based assignments to enhance team performance. Competencies:
Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Capable of working effectively with or without direct supervision, both independently and in a team setting. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Physical/Cognitive Demands:
This role is primarily sedentary, but it may involve walking long distances over uneven surfaces within our production facility. Some physical tasks, such as lifting boxes and opening filing cabinets, may be required. Cognitive abilities necessary for the role include deductive reasoning, information ordering, oral comprehension, oral expression, problem sensitivity, written comprehension, and written expression.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Preferred Education and Experience:
