Plus other perks such as quarterly company events Position Overview: Main duties will include the management of sales tax processes to ensure compliance with all state tax regulations and timely completion and filing of monthly and quarterly sales tax returns. Will assist with monthly closing and posting of month end transactions. Will be responsible for reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts. Will be responsible for order entry, accounts payable and reporting functions for foreign subsidiaries. Will be expected to suggest and implement process improvements in accordance with industry best practices. This position will also be expected to cross train in other areas of accounting to handle vacation coverage's.
Required Skills: Must have a minimum of two years experience in similar accounting job functions, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Desired Skills: Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Word. Previous experience working with an ERP system a plus. This position requires a person that is self-motivated, analytical and organized with a high attention to detail. There is no travel required in this position.
Education: B.S. degree in Finance or Accounting required
