Staff Accountant - Remote

Support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Engage in detailed financial analyses to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Participate in monthly and yearly closing processes.
Maintain precise records of all financial transactions.
Prepare tax returns and ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations.
Collaborate with various teams to enhance financial strategies and initiatives.
Uphold strict compliance with all accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
At least two years of experience in accounting or a related field.
Profound understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.
Skilled in financial statement preparation and analysis.
Experience in bank reconciliations and double-entry bookkeeping.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and various accounting software platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with securities law.
Knowledge of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC).
