Position: Staff Accountant (NY)

Location: New York KBRA (KBRA Holdings, Inc) is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in the New York office.
Responsibilities: Perform accounts payable procedures, including recording vendor invoices, reviewing expense reimbursement requests from employees, and reviewing client employee monthly credit card expensesPerform accounts receivable procedures, including invoicing, collections and recording cash receiptsAssist in preparing monthly closing schedules, reconciliations, and journal entriesPrepare of monthly/quarterly financial/operational reports including all supporting schedulesPrepare semi-monthly and monthly payroll journal entries for various entitiesMonthly Sales Tax review for various entitiesPurchase order review and invoice preparation for payment processingMonitor email from central mailboxes and completing tasks as needed (e.g. W9 distribution, vendor surveys, etc.)About You / Requirements: One (1) or more years of accounting experience at a mid-size firmBA/BS is requiredPossess a general understanding of GAAP and accounting principlesHave strong interpersonal skills and ability to be a team playerExcellent verbal, written and presentation skills are essentialEffective in process change and automationEnjoy tackling complex problems with an ability to problem solve through actionable strategyA self-starter with the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlinesAbility and desire to exercise independence to achieve set goalsUnderstand and utilize NetSuite and Salesforce (highly preferred)Ability and creativity for special accounting projects, as needed to support growing and scaling the organizationCreate and maintain written procedures on all aspects of this position, including "what and how to" manuals while working to improve efficiency and collaborationTechnical skills: Required:  Excel, NetSuite Preferred: Expensify, SalesForce, MS Office products Salary Range: The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000 to $75,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
