We are actively increasing our Accounting Operation by adding another Staff Accountant to our corporate accounting team to support our operations teams for our hospitality, hotel, and club clients. Our ******** years are forecasted to be the best years ever in our company's history.Our Staff Accountant is responsible for developing, implementing, and training scalable accounting and financial processes that support the overall accounting operations of Up To Par Management | Taylor Hospitality and its clients. Our Staff Accountant provides Up To Par Management | Taylor Hospitality with financial information by inputting, researching, and analyzing all property accounts; and preparing monthly financial statements. The creation of financial transactions includes posting information to accounting journals or accounting software from such source documents as invoices to customers, cash receipts, and supplier invoices. Our Staff Accountant will lead other high-quality accounting professionals and be primarily responsible for providing support through information analysis and preparing operational data/analyses for publication.Salary Range from $70,000 to $75,000 Annually, Based on Experience.Additional Benefits: health, dental, and vision; vacation time, personal time, and sick time, 401K, Life insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, and other market-related benefits. The best benefit is working with great people!Desired Qualifications: The ideal Staff Accountant candidate should have a bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience, along with knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles. It is preferred that the candidate has prior experience in hotel accounting. In addition, the candidate should possess advanced skills in written and verbal communication, computational and computer skills, and a good understanding of mathematics.Essential Job Functions:Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements including balance sheet, monthly P&L statements, and membership financials (Hotel, Hospitality, Club Sector)Develop, implement, and train scaleable accounting processes.Prepare monthly analysis of the cost of goods sold and operational expenses against the prior year and budget, provide explanations and business solutions to help mitigate the risksPrepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departmentsLead monthly financial reviews with our clients.Additional Information: Kindly, be aware that the job description provided is not an exhaustive account of the activities, duties, or responsibilities entailed for this role.
