Venteon Finance is currently seeking a Staff Accountant for a growing real estate investment and development company, located on the east side of metro Detroit. Requirements of the Staff Accountant Bachelor s degree in Accounting Financial accounting and general ledger experience required. Advanced working knowledge of Excel and Word. Analytical skills plus excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter, well organized, able to prioritize, effective at multi-tasking. Enthusiastic, excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong work ethic. Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant Record the day-to-day financial activity of multiple real estate partnerships Prepare work papers for annual audits Review partnership tax returns Variety of special projects and assignments in the areas of financial reporting and compliance.
