Job Description:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for all daily accounting tasks, including preparing tax documents and updating expense files. You will perform financial transactions and post them in the general ledger, with strong attention to detail. You will also carry out relevant administrative duties. A Day in the Life as a Staff Accountant:  Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Ensure accuracy and completeness in recording financial transactions. Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.  Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting. Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and variances. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations. Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Audit Support: Support external auditors during annual audits. Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation. Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to obtain relevant financial information. Provide financial expertise and support to various teams within the organization. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Confidentiality and integrity. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Benefits: Paid Time Off.
