Staff Accountant/Ar

A supply company in Spartanburg is seeking a candidate for an Accounts Receivables Accountant.  The ideal candidate will have several years of accounting experience, be well organized, and have a good understanding of Excel and Word.
Responsibilities:Create sales orders, A/R invoices and purchase ordersVerify activity in all bank accountsPost payments to GL, deal sheets and A/R reportPrepare required journal entriesPrepare and distribute cash sheet reportAssist with internal biweekly closeoutAssist with month end financial reportingAssist with open item reportCreate and distribute inhouse A/R report Prepare bank reconciliationsQualifications:2 – 3 years of accounting/accounts receivablesKnowledge of SAP Business One preferredIntermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordWork well independently and with a teamWell organizedAble to research and resolve accounting problemsExcellent attention to detailsTeachable, reliable, and consistent work ethicCompensation and Benefits:$60,000Medical, Dental, VisionVacation TimeSick Time
