Responsibilities
• Fit and weld parts to engineering specifications.• Ensure safety of self and others.• Read and understand blueprints.• Maintain a clean work environment.• Coordinate daily tasks to meet production goals.• Follow fabrication schedule.• Complete final inspection of parts.• Complete required safety training and machinery maintenance.• Support internal and external customers.• Perform other assigned projects and tasks.
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.• Mechanical Blueprint Reading.• Ability to lay out, position, align, and square parts.• Ability to use a plasma torch.• Verbal and Written Communication skills.• Attention to Detail.• Thoroughness.• Problem-Solving skills.• Ability to make decisions and follow through.• Ability to perform multiple welding disciplines.
