Job Description: This is a full-time, one-year limited term position based in Pell City, AL. Continuation of employment is subject to funding availability.
The St. Clair County Extension Office is thrilled to announce the opening for a Full-Time 4-H/ Workforce Agent Assistant ! In this role, you will dedicate 50% of your time to implementing and coordinating the goals and objectives of the 4-H Youth program, and the remaining 50% to the St. Clair County workforce development initiative.
As the Agent Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering 4-H Youth and Extension Workforce Development programming to youth and adult audiences across business, educational, and public agency settings in St. Clair County. Your duties will include preparing curriculum, implementing youth-related programs, and directly engaging in youth activities. Successful candidates will follow specific lesson plans aimed at enhancing youth social and cognitive skills through hands-on activities. Good organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records of youth education sessions and progress, while adhering to the guidelines and policies of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. This position will involve collaborating with the County Extension Coordinator and 4-H Youth Development Coordinator on activities benefiting the youth of the county, reporting to the County Extension Coordinator.
