Top Skills & Years of Experience:  Experience with and deep knowledge of Visual Studio 2012 and later, SQL Server Integrations Services (SSIS), SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT), and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). Experience with performance profiling and optimization of SSIS, SQL Server queries stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Perform data cleansing/scrubbing and transformation of data to ensure data quality. Develop SSIS packages to extract, transform and load data to enterprise-level data warehouses and data mart databases. Interview Process: Virtual Interview (Microsoft Teams). A hybrid work schedule, resources will have to be onsite. Additional Info: The Department of Corrections has been replacing critical legacy applications for the past couple of years. DOC partnered with a vendor that specializes in SaaS solutions. DOC is happy with the vendor and the progress, but the SOMI still has a lot of work associated with this migration. The internal staff needs assistance, so the SOMI is looking to hire someone for a long-term contract. This person will be looking at the data, running queries, and staging migration data in a SQL Server environment so the SaaS vendor can access the data. This is a great opportunity for someone that likes cleaning up data, testing the data, has some .NET skills, and is willing to possibly make coding changes to resize images as one example.
