Collaborate cross-functionally to develop strategies to execute validation deliverables. Act as a subject matter expert within local Validation team on SSD performance testing framework and results analysis methods. Develop measurement and benchmarking methods aimed at the generation of behavioral characterization profiles for Micron's SSD products. Plan and execute agreed test suites to verify products meet and exceed expected specifications and usage models. Define testing strategies and ensure the software and process used for testing/qualification flow is best in class. Act as product-specific point of contact for data collection, processing and reporting methods used throughout Micron's SSD Validation performance characterization framework. Support investigations of customer issues such as failure mode and usage conditions, replicate the issue on testing equipment, and perform root cause analysis. Evaluate, refine, and enforce validation processes/methodologies and contribute to the on-going development and betterment of in-house automation frameworks/tools. Recommend and instrument new validation approaches that drive better coverage, more accurate testing, and expanded testing services.Employer will accept Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.The US base salary range that Micron Technology, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is $124,013.00- $190,000 per year.
