DESCRIPTION Shopbop is seeking a talented, customer-focused Senior Production Designer our web retail design team at our headquarters in Madison, WI. This position is an amazing opportunity to work for a rapidly-growing and innovative online fashion company.
The Senior Production Designer will report to the Head of Visual Design to oversee the build and production of daily web content and projects related to the shopbop.com website including but not limited to the homepage, landing pages, promotions, email, and all other content for desktop, mobile and app formats. This is a role where accuracy and attention to detail is valued and expected. This position requires strong organizational skills, web expertise, intrinsic design ability, typographic skills, and acute attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with key stakeholders is essential. The Senior Production Designer will be responsible for owning and innovating new process and protocols to invent and simplify workflows.
Key job responsibilities
•Hands-on production of sophisticated multi-page web experiences
•Extensive web publishing, including the creation of web graphics and video
•Manage multiple projects, communicating with Visual Designers and other teams to ensure timely delivery of all graphic assets
•Responsible for cross-functional distribution and in some cases, publishing of those assets
•Proofing and reviewing experiences prior to launch and ensuring the highest quality is delivered
•Responsible for working with cross-functional partners to develop and own, document and implement new process and protocols for ease of workflow
•Responsible for liaison with cross-functional partners
•Responsible for overseeing and managing junior production freelance designers
•Work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
•Meticulous with all production and design details
•Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
•Excellent skills in Adobe Photoshop
•Knowledge of new and existing project management workflow tools
•Knowledge of Mobile Device CSS Styling
•Experience with web content management application(s)

Madison, WI, USA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 3+ years of design experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience working with agile development teams (agile/scrum/kanban)
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suit applications, with high proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat using macOS
