Duties include but are not limited to manufacturing precise electronic assemblies, working from assembly drawings and work instructions, inspecting in-process product for quality assurance, and maintaining 5S standards. This is a hands-on position and which both large equipment and fine detailed assembly work using hand tools. Technicians will perform a wide range of skilled mechanical assembly operations in a production environment. Primary Responsibilities: Preparing and loading neutron generator tubes Assembling and brazing neutron tubes Maintenance of equipment necessary to support the neutron generators value stream Must learn nuances of the process and understand how subtle variation will affect the end product Build x-ray assemblies requiring mechanical assembly, brazing, and leak checking Work safely and apply 5S principles to work area. Use lean practices to reduce production bottlenecks, eliminate waste and reduce cycle time. Demonstrate attention to detail so that quality standards are met or exceeded Ability to work successfully in a team based, varying environment. Exercise sound judgment in making decisions about assemblies with subtle acceptance criteria Participate in Continuous Improvement programs Cycle count program processing and problem resolution Document non-conformances Participate with the radiation safety team Perform other activities as assigned Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Use common hand and electronic assembly tools safely Meticulous dedication to the details of the task Familiarity with vacuum systems is preferred Competency with welding is a plus Knowledge of chemical systems is also desirable Associates degree or equivalent certificates are preferred Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria: Must have Bachelors degree in a technical field or relevant equivalent experience Practice work safety at all times Actively seek information needed to do the job, collaborating where needed Meet or exceed quality and quantity standards Keep work area clean and orderly Compensation and Benefits: The salary range estimated for this position is $21.82 – $32.72/hr. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Colorado is $21.82–$32.72. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
