Responsibilities
• Responsible for complex accounting areas such as equity, debt, leases, intangibles, revenue recognition, business combinations, and financial disclosures• Operational accounting areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, month end close, financial statement generation, and analysis• Ensure timely US GAAP reporting and covenant tracking• Research and prepare technical memos as needed• Coordinate with third parties such as auditors, tax and valuation professionals• Participate in systems implementation and process improvements
Requirements
• 4+ years of experience in accounting or auditing as a CPA, public accounting preferred• Strong understanding of US GAAP and applying ASC codification to business operations• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and client and personnel information• Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills• Experience with business combinations and/or healthcare industry preferred• Ability to think proactively and operate in a dynamic environment that requires multitasking and prioritization of deliverables• Mission-driven with a positive attitude
