The Sr. Tax Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive tax advice to the firm and its clients. This position is responsible for providing tax planning, compliance, and strategic advice, as well as managing tax-related projects. This individual must have a strong technical background in taxation and will be relied upon to provide technical guidance to other tax professionals.
The Sr. Tax Manager should have experience in all areas of taxation including individual, corporate, partnership, and international taxation.
Advise clients on tax planning and compliance matters, including income tax planning related to mergers and acquisitions
Provide technical advice to other tax professionals on complex tax matters
Conduct research and analysis of tax law and regulations
Manage tax projects and provide guidance to other tax professionals
Assist with tax reporting, compliance and planning for the firm and its clients
Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
Manage and monitor tax compliance activities across multiple entities
Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop tax strategies
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
CPA certification
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate and/or individual taxation
Proficient in tax preparation software
Strong knowledge of taxation principles
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
