As an organization that's well-established you'll see your ideas implemented and produced at mass scale. The position can sit at the director-equivalent of 'senior staff' and you'll focus on the mechanical aspects of cell design by optimizing materials, electrode and component design.

What you'll do as a mechanical engineer, cell design:
Lead cell design specifically for EV batteries
Take part in mechanical, electromechanical and thermal analysis
See out product lifecycle from concept to mass production

What you'll need to apply for the mechanical engineer, cell design position:
Mechanical engineering experience at the cell level
Leadership of projects and a team
Demonstrable experience of developing battery technology at the cell level
Modelling with CAD packages e.g. CATIA, NX, SolidWorks
Basic FEA and/or thermal analysis
