Sr. Staff Accountant

*** Please note that this is a HYBRID position based out of our office in Mahwah, NJ, This person will be required to work onsite at least 5 consecutive days out of the month. ***Amare's Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization. Additionally, you will:Prepare month-end journal entries and review account balances for accuracy.Create and review financial statements for our US entity.Prepare and analyze assigned cash and balance sheet account reconciliations monthly. Research and reconcile discrepancies and recommend actionable solutions.Review monthly GL detail reports for accuracy; send monthly P&L reports to department managers for review and comparison to budgets.Create templates for reconciliations for financial reporting and internal controls.Identify and implement ideas for process improvements and cost saving projects.Ability to take a lead role in supporting department with special projects as needed.
