Join Our Team as a Development Engineering Manager!

Key Responsibilities (but not limited) :
Identify and assess potential development risks before executing lease agreements.
Supervise third-party consultants in conducting crucial technical studies, including geotechnical, hydrological, and environmental assessments.
Facilitate seamless communication among Development, Real Estate, and Transmission departments to optimize project success.
Manage site constraints and incorporate conceptual design layouts and engineering designs to ensure performance output and capex assumptions align with project goals.
Oversee risk timelines and milestones in coordination with the cross-functional team.
Lead the execution of engineering activities for high-voltage project design and electrical interconnection of utility-scale clean energy projects.
Implement AutoCAD design templates and standards while developing the company's standards as projects evolve.
Required and Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, with a strong preference for an emphasis on electrical power systems.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in solar, storage, or infrastructure design with a focus on electrical design considerations and layout optimization for utility-scale solar assets.
At least 2 years of experience using AutoCAD, PVCase, ArcGIS, Google Earth, or similar platforms.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with PVSyst, NREL SAM, or other solar and battery performance platforms.
Thorough understanding of project risks in solar, with the ability to convey this information effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of permitting agency requirements and constructability concerns for utility-scale solar and storage projects.
Strong computing skills, including proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
Ability to utilize Excel spreadsheets, create trackers, and utilize Word and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
