Here, you'll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions.About the role:Boston Scientific's Cardiac Monitoring Center is seeking a Sr. Service Quality Process Engineer who will be responsible for the development, analysis, improvement and overall performance of processes that support complex, patient-centric initiatives for the Cardiac Diagnostic business. In this role, you will orchestrate operational excellence-driven programs by leveraging engineering principles, best practices and tools while effectively leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovation and continuous improvement that transform patient outcomes. In addition, where appropriate this resource will work the execution of projects designed to improve the compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness of the quality system as it relates to medical electrical equipment service quality. The role utilizes knowledge of the Quality System to assess and ensure changes occurring within service create a positive impact on the quality system and business organization.Your responsibilities will include:Bridges quality, compliance, customer needs and business teams to design compliant systems / processes to meet business needs.Assist the organization in making critical assessment of the health of the processes by executing the required elements: including data collection, database population and updating, logging and tracking of issues/action items, conducting analysis, generating reports, creating presentations, core team meetings, and meeting minutes for review by a variety of key stakeholders.Utilizes information systems to improve efficiency and makes recommendations upgrades to better meet customer, regulatory and company requirements.Uses quality system knowledge to guide implementation of business systems and processes by creating and communicating well-written documentation and presentationsSupports Internal and External Individual Audits.Able to translate quality requirements into business process and systems requirements.Responsible for quality investigations, trend/pattern identification, problem solving and critical thinking.Responsible for becoming experts in procedures and making sure they are aligned with current processes.Evaluates internal processes and drives process improvements.Required qualifications:Minimum of a bachelor's degreeMinimum of 5 years of related work experiencePreferred qualifications:Experience working with ECGs and or healthcare environmentsExperience working in a regulated medical device companyKnowledge of PowerBI, and/or Tableau (or other enterprise data tools) for use in data analysisAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational and communication skillsSelf-directed with a strong sense of attention to detailAbility to work with global partners located in various regions across the US.Positive attitude with the ability to work with others in a team environmentMS Office proficiencyRequisition ID:579010Among other requirements, Boston Scientific maintains specific prohibited substance testing requirements for safety-sensitive positions.
