Sr. Quality Engineer

Industry leader in the St. Louis market is adding to its Engineering team! Due to rapid growth this organization is in search of a Senior Quality Engineer to help support its daily operations and future expansions. Our client is offering a collaborative work environment, competitive compensation, and significant growth opportunities.

Some of the general responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
Lead corrective action teams by utilizing lean principles and other quality tools for processes to identify the root cause of a problem and implement effective corrective actions.
Conduct In-Process operations audits and Quality System Audits to assure proper practices and verifications are being used. Support customer audits as required.
Facilitate training related to quality and develop training material as required.
Review fixture designs to ensure that parts are properly located in accordance with the GD&T and that the fixtures pass required variable data and attribute checks in accordance with specifications.
Prepare, develop, & maintain needed work instructions/procedures & data/check sheets to support the expanding business.
Plan and perform internal process audits.

Ideal candidate profile should include:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
3+ years of engineering experience with significant exposure to quality
Experience implementing lean improvements (Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, etc)
MS Office
Excellent communicative and organizational skills
