The Ops Tech Solutions team is seeking a qualified Sr. Program Manager to drive global wide projects, reengineer existing processes and innovate new processes at scale . In this role, you will engage across Fulfillment Centers, Operations, multiple technology teams, Legal, and Finance teams to drive the program and product vision.
The role requires a true generalist skillset across operations, statistics, data, engineering, and business intelligence and a super power in at least one of those areas. This is a builder role in terms of strategy, process, and execution and the leader will need to be comfortable getting into the weeds and being hands-on with the data. The ideal candidate will have excellent program management, problem solving and communication skills and effective interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

Key job responsibilities
· Own reporting on the state of initiatives, measuring improvements and impact of changes.
· Utilize metrics to deep-dive into issues and uncover business-driving trends and patterns.
· Set-up mechanisms to audit and perform necessary course corrections where needed to meet business objectives.
• Develop best practices, scalable mechanisms and repeatable processes.
• Program tracking and common project management principles (agile development and project management methods, e.g. SCRUM); mapping complex combinations of resources against objectives, track dependencies and risk, assess impact of change across interdependent workstreams and projects
• Experience working with global teams
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and develop programs to enable the partners
• Tracking strategic metrics with the partners and provide visibility to the senior leadership team on a regular basis
• Lead and improve program operational & reporting procedures (activities, goals, funding, budgeting, etc.)
• Participate in workshops, design sessions and other program management activates to drive program adoption
• Organize workshops and facilitate the sharing of knowledge across OTS
• Will require travel - 25%

There is no typical day in the life of a Sr. Program Manager at Amazon! The role is dynamic, and successful Program Managers are able to manage a variety of tasks and context switch as needed from strategic planning , to tactical execution, and critical time-sensitive problem-solving.
Program Managers may switch between diving deep and performing analytics to may spend an entire day dedicated to resolving a specific problem, or supporting the team with a hands-on approach.
