Sr. Process/Project Engineer

Global Mfg client is seeking a Senior Project / Process Engineer. Position reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for all project-based engineering needs at the site. 10% travel required. Required Experience: BS ChemE required 8+ years in engineering with prior work in dev/design of processes & equipment for chemical manufacturing Led at least 1 capital project. Familiar with sizing and specification of process equipment and materials. PLC and DCS controls Worked in PSM and/or RMP environments Ability to manage and/or support multiple projects at once. TEAM PLAYER Duties: Mentor junior engineers Monitor project status & complete corrective actions as needed (scheduling, budget, quality, etc.) Provide updates to all stake-holders Prepare process designs (heat & material balance, PFDs, P&IDs, etc.) Develop processes, sequence of ops, and control strategies Identify process improvements Participate in Process Hazard Analysis activities.
