Headquartered in San Diego, California, with additional offices in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific, the company employs over 8,000 people worldwide.Meet the team:TheSr Manager - Design Verification Test isaccountable for leadership and success of theV&Vengineering team whichis responsible fordevelopmentand validationof test methods,product performance,safety verification,andanalysis oftest studies of electro-mechanicalandelectro-chemical designs, instruments,subassemblies, and system level assemblies forDexcom's growing portfolio of products.As the leader of the V&V function,the individual managesthe team's performance toassuremeetingtechnicalobjectivesandestablishesmidtermas well aslong-term goals.Where you come in:Experienced technical leaderfamiliar with verification and validation of regulated electromechanical devices.Highly accountable manager that deliversresultswhile definingchallenging goalsandobjectives.Coach and mentorusing firstengineeringprinciplestodesigntestsolutions.The ability to seamlessly leadand mentortheteamintechnicalfailures investigations.Leadcontinuous improvement initiatives tomodernize, scale andoptimizetest processes and methodologies.What makes you successful:Proven leadership experience in medical device design, development, and/orverification.Deep technical knowledgein structured problem solving, test method validation, statistical analysis, and relatedtechnical skills.Experienced indesign for six sigma and/or lean six sigma green/black belt.
