Position Description:Sr. IT Technologist, ERP-Make MES for Medtronic, Inc. located in Mounds View, MN. Responsible for planning, coordinating and administering computerized databases, including base definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, operational guidelines and protection. Ensure accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools such as base dictionaries. Establish and maintain security and integrity controls using SQL or fourth-generation languages, coordinates the use of data available through a computerized system. Work in Linux OS environment and be responsible for administering Oracle Databases. Understand Applied Materials' FACTORY works MES System, CamLine SPACE and SQM statistical process control systems. Leverages Jenkins Automation Server. Work with tools to include OEM, TOAD, Golden Gate, Data Guard and Jira. Leverage Technologies to include SQL, PL/SQL, JAVA, R, UNIX Shell Scripting, PERL, Python, HTML, Linux and C#.Net. Navigate various technical environments to include Linux, Solaris, Windows, SQL* Plus and Gerrit.Basic Qualifications:Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related technical degree and two (2) years' experience with Database Administration. Must possess a minimum of two (2) years' experience with each of the following: Linux OS environment, administering Oracle Databases; Jenkins Automation Server; OEM, TOAD, Golden Gate, Data Guard and Jira; SQL, PL/SQL, JAVA, R, UNIX Shell Scripting, PERL, Python, HTML, Linux and C#.Net; Linux, Solaris, Windows, SQL* Plus, Service Now, Polarion, JBOSS, EIG, Jenkins, Gerrit.Relocation assistance is not available for this position.#LI-DNI
