Americas IT team provides support to regional stakeholders as well as global markets. The role forms a vital link between eCommerce, Supply Chain and relevant down steam systems.
About the Role:

Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for:
Delivering medium complexity projects up to £3m in value at pace, providing sound decision making and calm leadership under pressure.
Building high performing project teams using matrix management to ensure that the team is effective in achieving project goals and securing business buy-in through effective stakeholder engagement and communications.
Accelerating the wider Dyson business by upholding the highest standards of project management. As an active and engaged member of the PPM community of practice you will be expected to identify and realise opportunities for continuous improvement in our ways of working.
Ensuring excellent financial stewardship by delivering predictable and reliable cost estimating, management and forecasting.
Embedding quality across all aspects of the project to deliver successfully with no major issues at go live; this includes effective management of change, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
Delivering positive feedback from key Dyson stakeholders by ensuring that projects are appropriately structured, well planned and executed.
Seeking out opportunities for innovation by identifying and leveraging delivery accelerators that improve the speed of delivery and/or the cost to serve.
Developing your career at Dyson by creating and owning your professional and personal development plan, using the PPM talent development framework to baseline your capabilities and identify stretch targets to build your career.
Good understanding in application of core business processes, project governance methods and operational/development framework.

About You:

At least 7 years complex IT project management experience within a global company, ideally gained in consultancy or client side in large and complex organisations. As well as actively engaged in Hybrid/Agile environment with Product based enhancements.
Ability to work & balance time across multiple time zones.
Experience working with Cross Functional IT ( global and regional ) as well as business teams.
Experience within E-Commerce and Supply Chain areas. Attention to end-to-end process is mandator.
Experience with SAP ERP and Salesforce Clouds preferred. Will accept experience with any other major ERP and CRM systems.
Experience with Business to Consumer and Direct to Consumer model preferred.
A proven record of successful delivery.
Extensive stakeholder engagement and management skills.
Good knowledge and experience of all stages of the project and programme lifecycle, including development of business cases, mobilisation of projects.
Knowledge of multiple project management methodologies. (Agile, Waterfall & Hybrid) backed up with experience of applying at least one of them successfully in practice
Experience of delivering medium complexity projects with budgets up to £3m
Experience of successfully leading multi-disciplinary project teams across a range of locations and including at least one 3rd party organisation
Proven ability to manage project budgets effectively and experience of financial reporting
Exceptional understanding of translating business benefits to sound ROI measures
Desirable Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
Experience of working for a consultancy or other professional services organisation.
Experience working with multiple 3rd parties and offshore teams.
Business case development and benefit realisation.
Experience of value tender / vendor selections.
Exceptional documentation skills, Project Brief, Executive POV, Business focused presentations
PMI Certification & Agile (Scrum) Certification
Product Management
Experience w/ Enterprise Portfolio Management Applications (Planview, ServiceNow) & associated reporting capabilities
